Birdnest is a unique co-living project that redefines traditional living spaces. It's not an apartment, nor a hotel, but a harmonious blend of both. Co-living is a modern residential model that combines private living spaces with shared communal facilities, fostering a sense of community among residents.
In Birdnest, each living space is optimized to make the best use of the available area. The furniture is customized, replacing numerous pieces with a single custom unit that runs the length of one side of the space. This approach not only makes the space look better but also enhances functionality, preventing the area from feeling cramped or unorganized.
The color scheme is designed to appeal to young adults, the project's main target demographic. Vibrant accent colors are used to wrap the custom furniture units, adding a pop of color that makes the space feel lively and energetic.
Birdnest is designed to function as a whole. Beyond the individual living spaces, residents can meet and enjoy each other's company in a large communal space or a co-working space. This shared environment fosters a sense of community, encourages collaboration, and provides opportunities for social interaction.
The project also features a large, usable roof space accessible to all residents. This shared outdoor area includes a paddle court for those who enjoy sports, and shaded seating areas for relaxation or socializing. This communal rooftop space further extends the personal living area, offering additional opportunities for recreation and interaction among residents.
