Our Story

Younis Architects is an architectural and interior design practice based in Egypt with a global client base who share our goal of a better human experience.

 

Over the last nine years, our founder - Hesham Younis- has been on a winding path in architectural practice between employments, administration and partnerships and ended up starting his own , offering his clients what he believed is essential the most, an outstanding quality of work and a delightful whole experience, with a team aligned and pushing hard to offer a great service on their own terms.

We're here to enhance people's story, to thoughtfully design around their experience, not just during the lifespan of a building, but we’re keen to extend that experience way back from the moment we’re in contact with a potential client.

Our Team

 

Younis Architects is a small design studio with a large balcony and a selection of plants, few meters away from the shoreline of Alexandria, natural light streams in in early morning to afternoon, cool breeze rolls in through the windows, we’re committed to extend that delightful experience to our team, they do deserve it.

Our team keeps to a strict diet of a movie per day, but apart from that, they’re fully devoted when it comes to their projects, they’re the ones behind a long lasting impact for most of our past clients.

 

Hesham Younis

Hesham Started the studio determined to finally do things his own way, the perfectionist way, or what his teams secretly refer to as the annoying way.

He loves to make things, find solutions, and dazzle others with his creations, just leave him be with a pencil and a paper and you're good to go.

Salma

Salma has a plan, and her plan is to cast Terrazzo molds during and after hours, she leaves us with a messy balcony from time to time.

Salma established the studio along side Younis, with a masters degree in architecture, she's dedicated to researching and expanding our set of skills, and when things go south, she's the one to the rescue.

Nader

Nader, our Team Lead Architect and project planner, ensures the team stays on track with his attention to detail.

A coffee enthusiast and gaming fan, he brings a thoughtful approach to each project, always aiming to refine and improve along the way.

Menna

Menna, our new mid-level interior designer to join the team, has a passion for 3D rendering and a knack for pushing technology to its limits—sometimes literally.

An early riser, she’s often the first one in, ready to bring her creative vision to life with an unstoppable energy.

Amany

Amany, our studio coordinator, is the glue that holds everything together—without her, we’d be a mess.

With a sharp eye on all things technical, nothing escapes her radar. An amazing painter at heart and we quote "I only work here to chill so I can focus later on my art." Thanks, Amany!

Aya

Aya, an architect with a sharp memory and a vibrant personality, brings fun and cool energy to the team.

Always striving to do better, she’s a constant source of fresh ideas and enthusiasm.

Judi

Judi is a gifted sketch artist, perfecting drafts into aesthetically pleasing architectural blueprints.

Besides her love for creating harmonious designs, she finds inspiration in the intricate world of anime qhich adds a vibrant and imaginative dimension to our team.

Nada

Nada, our new mid-level architect to join the team, is known for her sharp intellect and meticulous approach to her work.

She never lets anything slip through the cracks and takes pride in her personalized, cozy corner workspace, where she thrives in isolation when deep in focus.

Esraa

Esraa, with her impressive design skills, may often look sleepy, but don’t be fooled—her work speaks quality.

A passionate reader and our resident food expert, she brings a unique flavor of creativity and expertise to the team.

Alaa

Alaa, an amazing architect with a keen eye for detail, exudes a calm and quiet demeanor—but don’t be fooled.

Behind her composed exterior is a sharp mind and a personality that inspires us to strive for even greater heights.

Alaa

Alaa, the newest member of the team, is an excellent architect with a promising future ahead.

A proud Harry Potter fan, she brings a touch of magic to her work and the studio!

Shorouk

Shorouk, our in-house graphic design whizz, handles branding and visual identity with speed and precision.

She's an expert at ensuring everything is done to perfection.

She's known for her unique self-made vocabulary and we just love it !

Manal

Manal, an excellent architect with a reputation for amazing work, is the one we count on during challenging times.

While she has her moments of introspection, she always delivers with precision and dedication, making her an indispensable part of the team.

Menna

Menna, the silent perfectionist of the team, is the most precise and meticulous architect you’ll meet.

She tackles challenges independently with minimal intervention, and her serene workspace perfectly matches her focused, no-nonsense approach.
